At this year’s Offshore Wind North East (OWNE) Conference and Exhibition, hosted by NOF, Eastgate were proud to be platinum sponsors. The 2025 event marked a significant milestone, OWNE’s (link to OWNE website) 10th anniversary, celebrating a decade of collaboration, innovation, and growth across the UK’s offshore wind industry. Held at the Beacon of Light in Sunderland on the 5th and 6th of November, the conference brought together people and organisations from across the offshore energy sector.
Over two days, the event showcased insightful talks, panel discussions, and networking opportunities from individuals across the industry. The exhibition presented new technologies, innovation and skills.
David Brennan, our CEO, took part in a panel discussion on the second day titled “Inch Cape Supplier Showcase: Delivering the Wind Farm Construction Inch Cape Project with Tier One Contractor Vestas.” Joined by Michael Hepton of Enshore Subsea, Stuart McMullan of Smulders and William Stephenson of Harlyn, the panel explored the important role of local suppliers in supporting the Inch Cape project and discussed how collaboration across the regional supply chain is key to driving sustainable growth within the offshore wind sector.
David commented, “NOF don’t just represent their members, they represent the entire UK supply chain capabilities to developers and investors. There’s no other organisation that promotes new contract opportunities in such an impactful way as NOF does.

Throughout the event, Eastgate’s exhibition stand provided an excellent opportunity to connect with industry peers, showcase our work, and discuss our current works and upcoming projects.
