One of the projects Eastgate has worked on was the Margam Green Biomass Plant, Wales for client Glennmont Partners. The plant generates renewable power for 75,000 homes at over 80% efficiency, reducing fossil-fuel reliance and pioneering modular biomass design. Eastgate were proud to complete the Electrical and Instrumentation works.
We have also worked on the JG Pears CHP Biomass Plant, for client JG Pears, this is a 42MWe facility using biomass to generate power and heat, supporting sustainable industrial energy use. We once again completed the Electrical and Instrumentation works.
Our Electrical and Instrumentation scope has also been implemented on projects such as; Spalding OCGT plant, for client Intergen, Alfanar LGF SAF Plant for client Lighthouse Green Fuels, ReNew plant for client Wood, NESS EfW Facility for client Acciona, we currently have works on Lostock Energy from Waste facility for clients FCC and Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners.
Eastgate are proud to have provided Electrical and Instrumentation Operation and Maintenance services to client Sembcorp Utilities for Sembcorp Term Contract Works. Sembcorp’s 2,000-acre site at Wilton International, Teesside, is a vital industrial hub, supplying electricity through the UK’s largest private wire network. It provides essential energy and specialist services to support energy-intensive industrial businesses, driving efficiency and sustainability in the sector.
Eastgate has also worked on the VPI Immingham CHP Plant for client VPI, providing our specialist capability of HV, LV, and I&C installations. The plant provides 1.2GW of generation capacity, supplying major UK refineries with efficient combined heat and power.
Similarly, Eastgate provided HV, LV, and I&C installations for client Forsa Energy at Hartmoor Peaking Plant. This plant provides 50MW of top-up grid energy, supporting low-carbon infrastructure.
