The £130 million UK Battery Industrialisation Centre (UKBIC), for client UKBIC where Eastgate completed Electrical and Instrumentation works. This project is a cutting-edge facility accelerating battery technology development for a greener future. It bridges the gap between promising lab-scale innovations and successful mass production, supporting the UK’s transition to sustainable energy.
We have also applied the same scope works to the Ineos Hygienics Expansion project, for our client Ineos / PX. In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, INEOS established a new hand sanitiser manufacturing plant at its Newton Aycliffe site in County Durham. Through its Ineos Hygienics division, the company produces hygiene products to help combat germs and protect public health.
For our client, Strabag, we provided Electrical Design and Building services to the HS2 Tunnel Segments, Manufacturing Facility. HS2 is Britain’s new high-speed rail line, a transformative force for economic growth and social regeneration. Designed to enhance connectivity, boost productivity, and support sustainable transport, it is the most significant infrastructure investment in the UK in decades.
