Today, we’re delighted to introduce two key members of our Business Development team: Mark Cruces and Stephen Daniels.
As Business Development Manager, Mark brings more than two decades of experience within the electrical, engineering and industrial sectors. Since joining Eastgate in August 2024, he has been focused on building strong client partnerships and supporting projects across industries including offshore wind, renewables, power and infrastructure, oil and gas, and industrial manufacturing.
Mark’s career spans several leading organisations, including Dalkia UK, SPIE UK, Eaton and GE Power, where he developed extensive expertise in electrical and instrumentation solutions, power distribution and business development. This broad industry experience allows him to understand both the technical and commercial requirements of clients, helping to identify effective solutions that deliver long-term value.
With a foundation in Electrical Engineering and Mechatronics, Mark combines technical knowledge with a customer-first approach. His passion for relationship building and commitment to supporting clients through every stage of a project make him a valuable member of the Eastgate Engineering team.
Recently joining Eastgate Engineering as Business Development Manager, Stephen Daniels brings more than 35 years of experience within the construction, engineering and industrial sectors. Based at our North West office in Warrington, Stephen works closely with clients across industries including oil and gas, chemicals, nuclear, manufacturing and offshore wind.
Throughout his career, Stephen has held a variety of senior leadership and business development roles, ranging from Switchgear Manager and Business Unit Manager to board-level Business Development positions within major engineering contractors. His extensive experience in highly regulated industries has given him a deep understanding of the challenges faced by clients and the importance of delivering safe, reliable and innovative engineering solutions.
Together, Mark and Stephen bring a wealth of knowledge, industry insight and customer-focused expertise to Eastgate. Their combined experience across electrical and instrumentation engineering, industrial construction, renewables, infrastructure and manufacturing helps ensure that we continue to deliver solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients.
