EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Ireland CEO Retreat 2026
Eastgate Engineering was proud to be represented by CEO David Brennan at the prestigious EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Ireland CEO Retreat 2026, held this year in Toronto, Canada. The retreat brought together some of Ireland’s leading entrepreneurs, business owners, and industry leaders for a week of networking and discussions focused on leadership, innovation, scaling businesses, and international growth opportunities.
Representing Eastgate Engineering, CEO David Brennan joined fellow EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Ireland finalists and alumni for a programme that explored the future of global business, economic resilience, and entrepreneurship.
Speaking about the experience, David Brennan said:

During the retreat, attendees took part in a range of experiences across Toronto, including visits to Niagara Falls, the Blue Jays game, and the Hockey Hall of Fame, creating opportunities for networking and relationship building outside of the executive sessions.
The week also included a surprise visit with Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney and Irish Ambassador to Canada John Concannon, where discussions focused on the trade and investment opportunities emerging from changing global markets and economic uncertainty.
