Earlier this month, Eastgate Engineering joined forces with Laker Vent Engineering for our annual Golf Day at Wynyard Golf Club, bringing together colleagues, clients and contacts from across our network for a fantastic day in support of two important local charities.
Alongside a day of golf, good food and friendly competition, the event had an important purpose: raising funds for Teesside Hospice and Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice Middlesbrough.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone who attended and supported the event, we were delighted to raise a total of £1,150.
Following the Golf Day, representatives from Eastgate Engineering and Laker Vent Engineering were proud to present £575 each to Teesside Hospice and Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice Middlesbrough.
Both organisations provide invaluable care and support to people and families across our local communities.
Teesside Hospice supports around 3,000 people across the Tees Valley who are affected by terminal illness, helping patients and their families receive the care and support they need while making the most of every day.
Zoe’s Place has spent more than 30 years providing specialist care for babies and children with life-shortening and life-threatening conditions, while offering vital support to their families.
The work carried out by both charities makes an enormous difference to local families, and we are proud to have played a small part in supporting them.
Events like this are only possible thanks to the people who get behind them.
A huge thank you goes to everyone who joined us on the day and contributed to the fundraising, as well as Wynyard Golf Club for hosting us and making everyone feel welcome.
We would also like to thank our partners at Laker Vent Engineering for working alongside us to make this year’s Golf Day such a success.
At Eastgate Engineering, supporting the communities in which we live and work is important to us, and it was fantastic to see so many people come together for two causes that are close to our hearts.
We’re already looking forward to next year’s Golf Day, and hopefully raising even more for worthy causes across our region.
