Eastgate is proud to have recently hosted a charity golf day, in partnership with Three60 Energy, which took place at Rockliffe Hall. The day brought together colleagues, partners, and clients for a day of golf, fundraising and networking. The event was hosted in aid of two exceptional local charities: Teesside Hospice and Andy’s Man Club. Representatives from both charities were present on the day to share some impactful stories and information on community support. Various elements of the event were also sponsored by Smulders, Laker Vent Engineering Ltd and Knowsley SK Ltd, with contributions making a huge difference to the charities involved.
This was more than just a day on the course. It was an opportunity to step away from the usual routine, connect with others in the industry, and raise awareness and funds for causes that are making a real difference in our community.
The day began with a warm welcome as guests arrived at Rockliffe Hall for team registration, followed by breakfast. The teams then took to the course and teed off – Mulligan vouchers in hand. Whether seasoned players or newcomers to the sport, everyone embraced a day of friendly competition and plenty of laughs along the way.
As the evening got underway and the teams gathered back in Rockliffe Hall, our guests gathered to hear from guest speakers from Andy’s Man Club and Teesside Hospice. Both speakers delivered insightful presentations about the work that they do and the significant impact that sponsorship has on the organisations.
Following the talks, a charity raffle was held with fantastic prizes donated by charities and sponsors. The evening was concluded with a BBQ dinner, allowing attendees to reflect on the day’s impact.
