Eastgate is continually growing as we deliver complex projects across the UK; however, we are now proud to announce the appointment of a new board of directors. All of whom are equipped to help guide the business through its next stage of integral development and growth.
In 2007, David Brennan founded Eastgate Engineering and has since grown to almost 300 employees across the UK and Ireland. From Eastgate’s inception, David had a vision to create a business built on knowledge, trust, and innovation. These values have carried us from our first beginning projects to where we are today as we deliver major works in sectors such as offshore wind, power, chemicals and renewables. David’s career has given him a hands-on approach, as he began as an Apprentice Electrician before becoming a Project Manager and eventually establishing Eastgate Engineering. His ambition to build a sustainable company that is lasting has taken him to the point where he is today, as he introduces a board of Directors poised to continue the legacy.
In April 2025, David Brennan appointed Anthony Fiske as Commercial Director. With eighteen years of experience in commercial operations and project controls, Anthony can pull on his experience and bring a deep understanding of how to nurture a collaborative approach to create a huge impact. He began his career as a Technical Clerk, and this has shaped his philosophy of “it’s never too late to learn and grow”, which is a value that truly sits at the core of Eastgate’s culture.
The following month, in May, David further strengthened the senior leadership team with the introduction of Paul Carvill as Managing Director. Paul brings more than thirty years of experience in sectors like Nuclear, Pharmaceutical and Oil & Gas, as he began his career as a Mechanical Apprentice. From transforming businesses to building trusted client partnerships, Paul is no stranger to embracing challenge and will play a vital role in guiding Eastgate’s future.
In June, the final appointment to complete the board was made with the arrival of Claire Maith as Chief Financial Officer. Claire’s impressive background saw her achieve Finance Director at the age of just 23, which has led her to manage turnovers of more than £2.2 billion. She is passionate about building strong teams and is a true people’s champion, whilst she remains focused on ensuring sustainable growth. Wasting no time, Claire has already begun reinforcing Eastgate’s financial foundations as we gear up towards long-term expansion.
“Eastgate Engineering’s new board of Directors reflects our commitment to excellence and innovation,” says David Brennan, CEO. “Our new senior leadership team allows us to combine hands-on industry expertise with a strategic vision. This collaboration will help to position Eastgate in an ever-evolving industry as we are prepared and ready to deliver long-term value for current and future clients.”
