We are seeking Electrical Technicians to support project delivery on an Off Shore Wind Project in Europe.
Electrical Technicians

Duties:
• Performs work of a skilled variety demanding a high degree of manual and technical competency.
• Locates and determines electrical malfunctions using test equipment
• Repairs malfunctions by such methods as replacing burned out elements, fuses, and replacing defective wiring, cleaning and repairing motors
• Tests electrical equipment, such as motors, and controls for safety and efficiency, using standard test equipment and by observing functions
• Installs fixtures, wiring conduits, motors, and other electrical equipment
• Inspects circuits for specified shielding and grounding
• Performs other duties as may be required
• Installs, alters, maintains, and repairs electrical wiring systems and equipment, both high and low voltage.
• Maintains and repairs equipment used in 24-hour operations
• Draws circuits on a one-line diagram for controls
• Demonstrates continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality seamless customer service
Required Qualifications:
• Relevant electrical qualification, such as City & Guilds NVQ Level 3 or equivalent electrical apprenticeship
• Demonstrated experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, retrofit, commissioning, or service activities in wind, industrial, or related field environments
• Knowledge of wind turbine system safety regulations
• Previous experience on Off-Shore Wind essential
• Must have all current and valid off-shore certification including GWO
