Electrical Field Engineer
Eastgate Engineering is seeking to recruit an Electrical Field Engineer for Projects in the UK.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepare technical submittals
- Prepare co-ordinate builders work drawings
- Scheduling and tracking of the project progress
- Prepare record drawings
- Preparation of design drawings & cable schedules
- Alterations to working drawings
- Creation of installed drawings and O&M Manuals
- Obtaining quotations & proposals for specified equipment & materials
- Technical & commercial analysis of suppliers’ proposals
- Ensure the adherence to safety and quality standards
- Ensure project profitability
- Reviewing project documentation, drawings and calculations as required
- All other duties associated with this role
Candidate Profile
Desired Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate will have an Electrical background and or have a Degree in Electrical Engineering.They must be a self- starter with the initiative and skills to manage his/her workload to meet necessary deadlines. Excellent time management, prioritising and communications skills are essential.
Essential:
- A trade background with a third level qualification
- Proven record of coordinating on projects
- A minimum of 3 years as an Electrical Engineer
- Knowledge Microsoft Word, Excel, Autocad
Desirable:
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and within a strict deadline environment
- Ability to work independently a large scale project
- A construction background
